YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE

We offer a Winter and Summer Youth Basketball League for kids ages 7-12, which consist of Tuesday night practices, Saturday games, Picture Day and an end-of-season banquet in a positive, child-centered environment.

Come out to show us your skills with friends both old and new. Uniforms are included in the registration fee.

Minor League: Ages 7-9    Major League: Ages 9-12

  • How do I register my child?

    Registration can be completed online through the registration button above or in person. You must have an active net account to sign up. 


    Full payment is due at the time of registration. Regristration cannot be taken by phone or accepted by instructors. 

  • Does my child need experience?

    No, we welcome players of all levels of experience and they will learn the game from experienced coaches and staff.


    Draft & Evaluations

    • A Skills Assessment, Coaches Clinic, and Draft will take place at the start of the season. 
    • All players will make a team following the skills assessment. 
    • Staff will evaluate and draft teams based on skill level to maintain fairness 
  • What is included in the registration fee?

    Registration fees typically cover league administration, uniforms, equipment, game fees, and the end of season banquet 

  • What is your refund or cancellation policy?

    If you need to withdraw, request a refund, or transfer to another program, please send a written notice via email to recreation@weho.org at least 10 days before the program's start date. 

    Please note that submitting a refund request does not guarentee approval. 


    We do not offer make-up classes or refunds for missed dates, regardless of the reason.

    All games will take place at the West Hollywood Park gym  

  • How will I receive updates and announcements?

    All updates are sent via email and posted on the website. Please ensure your contact information is accurate so you don’t miss important communications.

  • How are coaches trained or screened?

    Our coaches and staff have years of experience playing and coaching sports. All City staff are required to undergo a thorough background check in accordance with City policy.

  • What is the Code of Conduct?

     All persons shall act with respect towards others; respect their privacy, and personal safety All persons shall treat public and private property, City facilities, and equipment with respect Observe program rules and regulations at all times Behave in a responsible manner, always exercising self-discipline

    Abusive language or disrespect towards a staff member, volunteer, another participant, or member of the public - Discourtesy or rudeness to a fellow participant, staff member, or volunteer - Verbal, physical, or visual harassment of another participant, staff member, or member of the public of any kind - Bullying or taking unfair advantage of any participant

  • What is your Zero Tolerance Policy

    I understand there is a Zero-Tolerance for the following behavior, Abusive language or disrespect towards a city staff member, city contractor, volunteer, program participant, or member of the public. Verbal, physical, or visual harassment of a city staff member, city contractor, volunteer, program participant or member of the public. Bullying, rudeness, physical abuse, and any other act deemed disrespectful by city staff, city contractor, program participant, or member of the public.
